In a 2012 interview with Howard Stern, Thiessen said she had been present at the birth of Garth’s first child and was a bridesmaid at her wedding in 2001, but that close friendship didn’t last. Still, Garth and Thiessen did appear much closer in the past. Many viewers thought there must be some bad blood between the stars, but in an interview with Us Weekly Garth set the record straight, blaming it on a “really weird editing situation.” Garth appeared to not be able to bring herself to say her former co-star’s last name, saying, “As Ti– how do you say it?” Spelling then chimed in to say, “Just say, ‘That which we don’t speak of.’ ” The episode featured a drag queen dress as Valerie Malone, Thiessen’s “90210” character. Those rumours starts back in May, when Garth was a guest judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” with another “90210” alum, Tori Spelling.
